About the courses:
Bachata Sensual is a partner dance where presence meets connection. In this course we explore the meeting of two energies – the inner and the shared. Here, dance is not about performing, but about listening, feeling and expressing. You learn to communicate through your body, create contact with your partner and let the movement become an extension of the music.
With Jesus and Johanna, certified instructors in Bachata Sensual, you will gain tools, techniques and understanding of both the structure of the movement and the depth of feeling. We will not only learn steps, combinations, techniques and styling – but also explore how to be present in our bodies and the ability to follow and lead with authenticity.
The classes weave together dance technique with embodiment – the art of being present in the body – to allow you to develop both as a dancer and as a person.

We highly recommend to combine at least 2 courses to get the most out of your experience:
- Level 1 & 2: Learn fundamentals and tequniques on a deeper – a strong base is everything, it changes your dancing completely and helps you level up faster.
- Level 2 & 3: Deep dive into techniques on level 2 which will be applied and challenged on level 3. Understanding the techniques behind the movements shifts your focus from steps to understanding more advanced sensual patterns, how to execute them and be creative.

About the instructors
Jesus Ortiz
Jesús Ortiz is a Latin dancer and international instructor born in the beautiful city of Cádiz, Spain.
His passion for dance has led him to explore and master several styles, including salsa and kizomba, yet it is in bachata where his expression truly comes alive.
With more than 14 years of professional experience, Jesús has travelled the world sharing the rhythm, sensuality and connection of Sensual Bachata across Europe, China and the United States.
Known for his fluidity, precision and highly developed technique, Jesús brings both depth and elegance to his teaching. His ability to teach from the perspective of both leader and follower reflects a profound understanding of the dance and the connection between partners.
Through his presence, musicality and authentic passion for bachata, Jesús continues to inspire dancers around the world and leave a lasting impression on the international Sensual Bachata scene.
