Embodiva Nights is a dance experience where movement meets presence, sensuality, connection and community.

We don’t dance to perform or to be perfect. We dance to feel, express and connect — with ourselves, with others and with the music.

The evening begins with inspiring Bachata workshops in both solo and partnerwork, led by talented guest teachers, followed by social dancing in an atmosphere filled with energy, joy and connection.

Whether you’re new to Bachata or an experienced dancer, you’re invited to come as you are and experience dance as a language for both body and soul.

Held once a month on selected Thursdays, with additional special editions on selected weekends, Embodiva Nights brings together dancers of all levels for evenings filled with movement, music, community and inspiration — in a safe, playful and authentic atmosphere.

What to expect

45 minutes of workshop in Bachata Sensual with Johanna and guest teacher Umer (Open Level)
5 hours of party with social dance (1 dance floor: 80% bachata, 20% salsa/kizomba)
DJ Umer will fire up the dancefloor
Photographer Jose Avila will capture the magic on the dancefloor
Our ambassadors: Deepak, Christian, Ellinor, Elin, Johanna, Nellie will be here to dance with you and create good vibes on the dancefloor
Food and drinks in the bar and restaurant at our amazing venue Vagnhall 16 during the party

Meet your instructors

Umer Hayat

Johanna Niva

Founder of Embodiva and certified instructor of Bachata Sensual by Korke & Judith and Traditional Bachata by Evelyn La Negra. With a background in dance, yoga and embodiment, Johanna brings together technical understanding with a focus on body awareness, musicality, connection and authentic expression. She has been teaching Bachata since 2019, both nationally and internationally.
